My wish list for Anthropologie is growing by leaps and bounds. I only wish my wallet would do the same thing. :) I love going to the store, to look at the displays, but the temptation to purchase everything I want leaves me with cartoon eyes! You know the ones with $$ signs. So for now I will just share with you my dreamy finds.

Graceful...

Yesterday while doing my shopping, I found these wonderful fillers in the floral shop at my local grocer. So I scooped up two types of floral filler- green branches and babies breath. They have now found a home in the dining room and on my little desk. They make a statement with little fanfare, they are simply graceful. They have added a little life to the otherwise dreary winter!

Homing

Today was an eventful day. I finished some projects for Audrey's etsy shop. I will post them in her shop tomorrow. I finished staining the book case. Yeah! Maybe it will find its way inside tomorrow.
Menu:
Baked chicken,
warm pasta salad,
whole wheat rolls,
and a green salad

Tomorrow will be white chili, peperjack cornbread.

I took Audrey to get her new running shoes, she is up to running 2 miles, she is very pleased with herself. I am so excited for her, I will start my running on Monday, if you can call it that. Have a blessed day

Beware! May be harmful to eyes

I have been looking for a nice woven hand bag for the summer. You know kinda beachy, summery... I found some that were over my price limit, or not the right shape, color. Then Odd found this one and showed it to me... "Perfect" I was so excited. The she turned it around, revealing the true identity of the creature. Awful. But it was perfect, and less than 10.00. So I went ahead and made the splurge. And now it is just lovely. Twenty minuets of deconstruction, and a new bag was created.

I know beads are all the rage this year, sandles even have them or fake stones... Yuck, not my style. So bye-bye beads....

Thrifting Finds and my Betty Brooch!

A while back I purchased a brooch from Kimba over at A Soft Place to Land. I love this pin, and instantly became obsessed with finding a jean jacket to wear it on. I had been looking for a jacket for a while, but the pin made me need it all the more. I was looking for something a little more tailored, not the short style. I searched high and low with no results. Last week while on some errands, I stopped at the goodwill. I wasn't even looking for a jacket. While browsing I spied the denim jackets so I went to take a look. I was so excited to find one in a style I liked but it was cream. As I kept looking through them I found a beauty, just what I had been wanting. So for under 12.00 I purchased both. Yea me!!!

Look who came to town!

I went to Borders to purchase a book, and look who was there. Ernest Borgnine went From Here to Eternity to Borders in Bako. Life is funny. Lucky for me I had my trusty camera in my purse. Whoops, I just deleted my second picture. Yikes, I'll post it again.

Cake Class

Today Audrey and I went to our 1st cake decorating cake class. I think we will really have a lot of fun. After we went with the cute guy and cute kid to hang out. The cute kid wanted a hair cut, some new shoes and sweatshirt... and just kidding. He paid for his sweat shirt. I will sneak a picture of his new cut and post tomorrow. While we were out we found the cutest apron for Audrey. She is growing to a young lady and works in the kitchen with me a lot. So the cute guy splurged, wink wink, we found it at Ross'.

I just love the pattern. It has a vintage pattern and the colors are so cool together.

By the way.... this was dinner for tonight. Chicken Cacciatore with crispy Polenta and lots of green veggies. Love them veggies!

Today Audrey had to an orthodontist appointment. So after a successful visit we headed out for some shopping. We went to the market for some viddles. Then found our selves at Ross, the dollar store, and home. :)
