Restful Night

Today was a little busy, so tonight I am enjoying some hot tea and warming myself by the fire. Tomorrow is New Year's Eve and we may head out for a day or so. Things are getting back to normal: the tree is down and tucked away until next year... no sign that Christmas was here. It is always sad to place everything back in the box at the end of the season. Although, I find it rather cleansing and a good way to start the new year off fresh and uncluttered. I need to finish Audrey's lesson plans this week, so we have a peaceful transition back into school next week. Ah, I do enjoy cozy winter nights.
